I have been writing for as long as I can remember. As a child, I brought a notebook and pen with me to holiday gatherings and other events while family members commented, “She’s going to write a novel someday.”
I am still working on that novel. However, my love of writing has led me to a career developing content in a variety of formats—from e-mail announcements and marketing materials to articles in healthcare risk management publications, webinar presentations, and online education courses—to meet clients’ needs. My experience in project management and client relations has helped me understand the importance of communicating about expectations from start to finish and meeting goals and deadlines.
